Reba McEntire’s Cardi B Impersonation At The ACM Awards Was Just Perfect

Reba McEntire served as host of the 2019 ACM Awards and her 17th stint as funny woman for the annual show saw the country titan shout out and impersonate the one and only Cardi B.

During McEntire’s opening monologue for the star-studded ceremony, which took place in Las Vegas on Sunday night (April 7), the 64-year-old industry heavyweight cracked a number of jokes with some artist participation from Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton, but her nod to Bardi had the audience at the MGM Grand Garden Arena with smiles from ear to ear. When talking about some of the cross-genre collaborations of the evening, McEntire suggested that she was going to perform with the rap titan. “Me and Cardi B … I’m just kidding, but I have a song we can do together. There’s ‘No U In Oklahoma,’” she said in reference to her recent release, before impersonating Bardi’s famed catchphrase. “And that’s okurrrr with me.”

McEntire previously showed off her knack for rolling her tongue like Bardi when she posted a video to Twitter in early March. in the clip, the country queen offered up the catchphrase and we can only imagine that the rapper would be proud.
