Cindy Lim and Tristan Yates, from Australia, have been living in Canada for the last three years and visiting the states in pockets at a time. They had always wanted to visit all 50 states.
The couple was on maternity leave after their daughter Harper was born and they set their sights on another U.S. trip. They looked into the “All Fifty States Club Membership” and thought it’d be fun to have Harper become the “freshest face in the group.” They’ve been documenting their journey on Instagram with Harper in front of the different state signage or popular tourist attractions.
They are completing the last leg of their journey and will finish up in Vermont on October 18th – their 50th state. Once they do, 5-month-older Harper will become the youngest member of the All Fifty States Club. Her parents hope it’s only the start of a life full of “confidence and curiosity.”
