The Hubbards are looking to the Akins for advice.
Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard tells Entertainment Tonight he and wife Hayley are researching adoption for their “second or third kid,” adding they’ve looked to friends Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins for guidance.
“We were kinda there in the middle of their situation as well, when they were adopting Willa Gray,” Tyler says of TR and Lauren’s journey to adopt their oldest daughter from Uganda. “It’s definitely an inspiring situation, the love they have for that little girl and that she has for them…it’s just so cool to see the difference you can make in somebody’s life.”
Adds Hayley, “They fought against all odds.”
Tyler and Hayley are currently “learning how to be parents” to 5-month-old daughter Olivia Rose, they say, before they add another sibling to the mix.
As Florida Georgia Line celebrates one billion streams for “Meant To Be,” the duo continues work on their fourth studio album.
