Bravo(NEW YORK) — The rumor mill is buzzing about the new cast members joining Bravo’s hit show Real Housewives of Atlanta next season now that top dog NeNe Leakes is leaving the series.
Transgender model Amiyah Scott has reportedly filmed scenes for the show’s upcoming season.
A production insider told ABC Radio, “Amiyah is a good friend of Kenya Moore’s. She was at an event that Kenya threw last night so she did film for the show.”
The event the source was referring to was a hair care event held Monday night in Atlanta.
Still, the insider warns that Scott could end up on the cutting room floor. “Conversations are happening with production, but it’s too soon to tell how this season will shape up,” the source added.
Former cast member Sheree Whitfield also was seen recently filming scenes for the upcoming season, and according to E! News, Facts of Life actress Kim Fields also will join the series.
Bravo has made no official announcement about the cast of the new season.
