If there’s one thing we are passionate about, its our beer! But if you can’t spell it, maybe you shouldn’t be drinking it. A new study has revealed which brands of booze Americans had the hardest time spelling, with Jagermeister coming in at number one, followed by Budweiser, Jameson, Hennessy and Jack Daniels. The most common spelling mistake for Budweiser wasn’t that far off, B-U-D-W-I-S-E-R, just missing that first ‘E’. When it came to one of my favorites, Jägermeister, 90% got it wrong! Count me in that 90% because even after copying and pasting and spell checking the name, that little red line is under it and making me question it.
So if you want to have some fun with friends tonight as you toss back a few pints, play the Booze Spelling Bee! Bet a drink and see if they can spell it, but please do it responsibly!
