August is filled with end-of-summer activities. Recharge, refocus, and gain strength and calm for the onset of fall at our community yoga classes at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street). No matter your age, fitness level or physical condition, you can safely increase flexibility and balance through Gentle Chair Yoga, Monday, August 6 and 20 from 10:30 – 11:15 a.m. Poses are done either seated on the chair or using the chair for extra support during standing bends and stretches.
If traditional yoga is more to your liking, attend our regular Yoga @ the Library class. Roll out your mat (or borrow one of ours) Monday, August 13 from 6 – 7 p.m. This class is open to teens through adults.
Instructors from Sōl Yoga Collective provide a safe and encouraging atmosphere. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily.
