Horatio Darton, known in this area for mapping and photographing Black Hills geologic features, is the subject in this week’s Turtle Soup lecture. Find out more about the man who decided to take up geology as a hobby and became one of the primary influencers of the science in the 20th century!

Feed your mind and your belly! Every Turtle Soup features a presentation on historic figures who influenced Black Hills history and includes soup from Angel’s Catering. Turtle Soups are included in a regular admission to the museum or are 1/2 off for members.
