The Red Willow Band has been entertaining South Dakotans since the ‘70s. From 1974 to 1982 the Red Willow Band took the state’s country scene by storm. Known locally as “the best in country swing” the band was inducted into the South Dakota Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame in 2015. 
The Red Willow Band original members are Chris Gage, Hank Harris, Kenny Putnam, Marley Forman, and Barry Carpenter who will perform this concert. The band has recorded and released two albums and several singles. Their hit, “I Wish I Had Your Arms Around Me” earned them national success when it climbed to #97 on Billboard Music’s Hot Country 100 charts for seven days.
The Red Willow Band plays together only a few times each year, so this rare performance at Lead’s Historic Homestake Opera House is a DON’T MISS!
