Don’t miss all the fun this Independence Day in Custer with the Old Time Country Fourth Celebration July 2-4. Spend the holiday enjoying a Children’s Fair, Arts & Crafts Fair, live music, frontier re-enactors, family games and races, parades, and fireworks!
Old Time Country Fair (Arts & Crafts)
July 2 – 4, 10 am–6 pm: Arts & Crafts Fair located at the 1881 Courthouse Museum.
Children’s Fair at Way Park (free and open to the public)
July 3, 12 pm – 3 pm, and July 4, 11 am – 4 pm: Old-time games, live music, face painting, and more!
Also, don’t miss the family games and races from 12 pm – 3 pm each day!
Parades and Flag Ceremony (free and open to the public)
July 4, 10 am: Kids’ Parade to be followed by the Patriots’ Parade, downtown Custer. Flag-raising
ceremony following the parade at 11 am at the Veterans Memorial on Washington & 5th Streets.
Fireworks (free and open to the public)
July 4: Live music starts on Pageant Hill, 8th and Canal Streets, at 6 pm and continues until the Custer
Fire Department’s fireworks begin, around 9:30 pm.
