The Mayor’s Committee for People With Disabilities will host the 28th annual Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Celebration event, Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the Canyon Lake Activity Center, 2900 Canyon Lake Drive.
The event recognizes the impacts of ADA on the community and for people with disabilities. The event will include a mayoral proclamation presented by City Council member Jason Salamun (see attached proclamation), food, prizes and vendor booths and is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrange transportation services in advance of the event.
Event sponsors include Rapid City Pita Pit, Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country, Firehouse Brewing Company and the Canyon Lake Activity Center.
