Local artists, diverse performances and well-loved holiday classics! Fifteen-year-old Joelle Simpson graces the stage Friday December 6, 13 and 20 at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs) from 4 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. with a collection of classical music and songs of the season played on the harp.
Simpson fell in love with the harp at age four. In hopes of deterring her interest, Joelle’s parents tried to distract her with piano lessons, but after enduring three long years of constant “harping” from Joelle, they relented. Having now studied for six years, Simpson shares her love of the harp at numerous events.
