Hailing from the upper Great Plains, South Dakota folk singer Jami Lynn was first inspired by the oldtime county and bluegrass jamborees of her grandparents’ generation. As a young artist, Jami has combined her love for the traditional folk music of the Upper Midwest and Appalacia and the jazz and blues of Billie Holiday, Django Reinhart, and Fats Waller.
With her roots planted firmly in traditional music of the upper Midwest, Jami Lynn brings artful songwriting, vocal dexterity, and a fresh spin on age old folk songs to her audiences.
