Fall River Hot Balloon Festival

Experience the annual Fall River Hot Air Balloon Festival!
Balloon Launch at dawn: (6am) from Hot Springs Airport both days
Balloon “Night Glow” at dusk (7:30pm) at the Hot Springs Airport on August 25th
Downtown activities will be taking place for all ages all day on Saturday!
Be a “Thrill Seeker!” Take a Hot Air Balloon Ride (must be booked in advacne with Black Hills Balloons- 605-673-2520 and/or a Glider Ride (book in advance with Black Hills Soaring Club- 605-415-4079. And make sure to “soak-in” everything else that is going on this weekend in Historic Hot Springs.

• Sidewalk Sales – Check out the crazy bargains from local merchants. (All day)
• BOGO Sale at Evans Plunge – Cool off with a dip in the warm mineral waters. (All day)
• Walk-In Balloon – Experience a hot air balloon from the inside at the Mammoth Site (9 a.m. – 11 a.m.)
• Free Kid Zone – At Centennial Park – Giant inflatables, games and fun, fun, FUN! (10a.m. – 4 p.m.)
• Art Walk & Chalk – Enjoy and purchase artwork from local artists and make your own statement on downtown sidewalks (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
• Live Outdoor Music – Enjoy live music as you visit the downtown, sponsored by Chautauqua Artisans Market (11 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
• Plein Air Artists – Plein Air Painting is all about leaving the four walls of your studio behind and experiencing painting and drawing in the landscape. Sponsored by Chautauqua Artisans Market (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
• Vintage Car Show – at Centennial Park, sponsored by Battle Mountain Cruisers (10 a.m. – noon)
• Art Show, Sale, & Open House – Meet the pilots and purchase your favorite Plein Air artwork, sponsored by Chautauqua Artisans Market (4 p.m. – 7 p.m.)
• Full Moon Dance Party – Dance under the stars at Centennial Park to DJ Magical Black Unicorn (aka Yoko), sponsored by Earth Goods Natural Foods & Lucy and the Green Wolf (5 p.m. – midnight)
