July 1, 1919 the South Dakota Legislature established Custer State Park as South Dakota’s first and largest state park. Join us during our Lunch & Learn event, Wednesday, November 20 from noon to 1 p.m. at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs), for a photographic presentation by Visitor Services Program Manager, Kobee Stalder. Get a glimpse into how the park has evolved throughout its 100-year history, as well as how the park is today.
Enjoyed by almost two million visitors every year from around the world, Custer State Park is home to free-roaming buffalo, pristine lakes, scenic drives and the granite outcroppings of the Needles spires that rise from the forest floor.
While lunch registration is closed at this time, feel free to bring a lunch and join us for this event.
