Alex’s Lemonade Stand is a Foundation that funds Pediatric Cancer Research. Every Day approximately 250 kids around the world die from cancer. Every 2 minutes another child is diagnosed. Cancer is the leading cause of death in children around the world. These kids need to be in sandboxes and not hospitals. $50 can fund up to an hour of research!
Northwestern Mutual and UGF are teaming up to host the first annual #CombatCancer Obstacle Race with all proceeds going to the foundation.
The Obstacle Course will be individually timed and will consist of 12 obstacles. 4 people can run at a time. The obstacles will range from monkey bars, to wall climbs, to tire pulls and much more.
The course will be open to ages 8 and up and the three best times of each age group will receive prizes.
Age groups will range from 8-16, 17-39, and 40+
Early Registration prior to July 1st is $30 and will include an event tee shirt!
Registration day of the event will be $25 each with no tee shirt included.
The first 100 registrations will also get an event water bottle!
Show up at 8am to get your shirt and number…. the first group will start at 9am.
We will have a dunk tank and blow up jousting pit as well as food trucks and music!
