Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills makes meaningful, professionally supported matches between Bigs (mentors) and Littles (youth). We help develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. Professionally trained Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members work with our partners in the Black Hills community to assess how our programs can have the greatest impact. Big Brothers Big Sisters targets all children who need help navigating through the adversity in their life.
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills’ largest fundraiser, raising over $89,000 annually for children in the Black Hills Community. Because of Bowl for Kids’ Sake, more Bigs and Littles can be paired up, more friendships can be created and improved outlooks on life can be started.
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is a fun and easy way to positively impact a child’s life. Just follow the simple steps below:

1. Start a team.Teams are formed with four or five members. Consider creating a team with family, friends, fraternity brothers, sorority sisters, or co-workers.
2. Start securing pledges. What impact do you want to have?
   The best part is that all of the event expenses are taken care of by our sponsors. That means 100% of the money raised by bowlers goes directly towards supporting children served by Big Brothers Big Sisters in our community.
3. Start bowling.After you have secured your pledges, it’s time to have fun! You’ll receive two free games of bowling (shoe and ball rental included!), a Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills t-shirt, food, drinks and chances to win door prizes!
