The Black Hills Roundup is one of the oldest continuously held outdoor rodeos in the USA. This year’s rodeo and festivities will take place during a red, white and blue, star-spangled six-day period over the Fourth of July weekend. And folks from all over the country and even from abroad come to the “Center of the Nation” to celebrate with us.
The PRCA rodeo will will take place July 2-4, 2016. Once again it will feature the country’s top riding and ropin’ talent. World-class bucking stock will be provided by Hank & Lori Franzen of Powder River Rodeo and D&H Cattle Company. Oh, but don’t forget the wild, wooly and western fun in the area’s best Ranch Rodeo and barbecue on July 1st. As part of the festivities there is a week-long carnival, South Dakota’s best fireworks display, a mile-long parade and the Miss Rodeo South Dakota contest. Explore our website for more information on all the heart-thumping, non-stop, family friendly fun!
