23rd Annual Festival of Lights

The Festival of Lights Parade, which has earned its reputation as the premier winter event in the Black Hills, is a magical evening that takes places in downtown Rapid City where floats strung with thousands of lights dazzle spectators of all ages! It is a favorite holiday tradition for many families within the community. Each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, more than 75 lighted floats and entries wind their way through Downtown Rapid City.
