The South Dakota School of Mines & Technology will host the 20th annual Health and Wellness Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, in the Surbeck Center Ballroom. The public is invited to attend this free event.
The Health and Wellness Fair promotes healthy lifestyles and balanced living for Mines faculty, staff and students. The theme this year is “Inner Tranquility.” Each booth will reflect a sense of creating peace within.
More than 40 organizations from throughout the community will host booths at the event. Organizations that will be at the Wellness Fair include New Freedom Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, Rapid City Regional Sleep Center, YMCA of Rapid City, Breadroot Natural Foods Cooperative and Peak Wellness.
The Health and Wellness Fair will also feature the following speakers, all presenting in the McKeel Room in the Surbeck Center:
In addition to speakers and booths, the Wellness Fair with also include raffle giveaways of such items as yoga mats, gift cards, water bottles, T-shirts and more.
