What a “Perfect Day” Really Looks Like for Each Show Member

Bobby recently talked with Blake Shelton about what a realistic, perfect day would look like for him.

Blake described spending the day at his ranch in Oklahoma with Gwen Stefani and the boys, enjoying simple outdoor activities. Bobby said Blake emphasized that seeing the kids outside having fun made him happy and that cooler weather was essential, noting he would much rather have cold temperatures than extreme heat. That conversation led Bobby to ask the group to describe their own realistic, perfect days.

Bobby went first and said his ideal day would take place in Fayetteville during football season. It would be a Saturday with a 3:00 p.m. Razorback game, not an early morning game and not a night game. He described waking up, eating, going back to sleep briefly, watching other games, and then walking to a tailgate about an hour and a half before kickoff. In his perfect scenario, Arkansas would win decisively against Ole Miss or LSU. After the game, he said he would go out for a nice dinner around 8:00 p.m. He added that the weather would be cool but not cold, around 58 degrees. Bobby also noted that Oklahoma would be off that weekend so his wife could fully focus on the Arkansas game. He said everything about the day felt realistic except guaranteeing the win.

Amy shared that her perfect day would start on a summer morning in Colorado at her sister’s house. She described drinking coffee on the back deck by the river, going on a hike, and then heading to the spa for massages. After that, she said they would relax by the fire and read before either her sister cooked dinner or they ordered Thai food. Amy said the best part of the evening would be when the rest of the family arrived, including both her kids and her sister’s kids, filling the dining room table with people and extra chairs. She said they would end the night curled up watching a movie. When asked if that day could happen, Amy said yes.

Eddie described his perfect day as one he could realistically make happen often. He would wake up around 7:30 or 8:00 a.m., have a cup of coffee, and watch birds at the feeder. He would then head out for an 11:00 a.m. tee time, play a round of golf, and have a couple of beers. On the way home, he would stop at the grocery store to buy meat and more beer before smoking the meat for dinner. After dinner, Eddie said the family would play a board game together, and later he would stay up late watching a movie with his son. Eddie admitted he could realistically have his perfect day every Saturday, though convincing his wife about playing golf for four hours could be difficult.

Lunchbox said his perfect day was easy to describe. It would start with breakfast tacos, which he called the best breakfast on the planet. After that, he would go play golf with his friends, have a couple of cold beers, then come home and take a long nap. He said the kids would come home and play before he headed out to play coed soccer, where he imagined scoring a couple of goals. He said the night would end on the couch with a nightcap and some fun time with his wife. Lunchbox also pointed out that none of the others had mentioned intimacy as part of their perfect day, which led to some joking back-and-forth. Bobby noted that Blake Shelton hadn’t mentioned that either.
