Box Elder Ball Under The Sea!

Box Elder, South Dakota – City of Box Elder, is excited to start 2026 with its first community event of the year, the Under the Sea Box Elder Ball, taking place on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at The Box Elder Events Center, located at 631 WaTiki Way.

This enchanting evening invites guests to dive into an underwater adventure filled with fun and imagination. Attendees can look forward to dancing beneath the sea’s glow, ocean-themed games and crafts, treasure chest prizes, sweet seaside treats, an underwater photo booth, and much more.

A highlight of the evening will be the crowning of Box Elder’s 2026 Prince and Princess, open to children ages 4–10, with winners selected by drawing.

Due to occupancy limits, a ticket is required for every attendee, regardless of age, unless the child is under 12 months old.

Photos and videos will be taken during the event.

The City of Box Elder extends a huge thank you to the event’s Community Partners, including Midco and The Box Elder Events Center, for helping make this magical night possible.

Families are encouraged to grab their crew and make a splash at this unforgettable night under the sea.
