Eddie has officially lost it.
Between practices, games, and constant driving across town, his family’s schedule has gotten out of control. He explained that it feels like he and his wife are always going in opposite directions just to get the kids where they need to be. The breaking point came when he was supposed to pick the family up from the airport. One child had a game scheduled just an hour after landing, and another had practice at the same time. Eddie’s wife suggested he take an Uber to keep things moving, but he refused. Instead, they waited two extra hours for her to come pick him up after the kids were finished.
Now, Eddie says he’s reached the point where he’s ready to start canceling things, or even skipping games altogether, just to get some relief from the chaos. He admits that sometimes he and his wife will high-five each other at the end of the week just to celebrate surviving the madness.
