A listener called into The Bobby Bones Show asking if anyone had near death experiences.
Bobby shared he has had three, two of which were very severe and the other being a huge scare. When he was 5-years-old, he fell off a trailer and punctured his spleen. He had to have emergency surgery, which he still remembers being put under for. In his adult life, he was at an ATM at night and had a gun held to his head and then pistol whipped. That one has caused a lot of PTSD for him over the years. Also in his adult life, he was in the lake and almost got run over by a jet ski, the jet ski cut hard and the very back of the jet ski scraped his nose.
Amy hasn’t had any near death experiences that she can recall, the show told her that means she is likely due for one. Eddie recalled fishing with his son in a pond. They were in a canoe and his kid caught a fish, but couldn’t reel it in. So Eddie stood up trying to get it, which he knew he shouldn’t do in a canoe and they capsized. Eddie reached for his son underwater, managed to grab him and put him on his shoulder. They were able to swim to shore and ended up both being ok. Lunchbox was driving with No-Teeth Keith back in his childhood when they saw headlights coming straight for them. Lunchbox recalled not having time to say anything so he just grabbed the wheel and swerved the car. 2 seconds later, the car zoomed by going the wrong way. Had he not done that, they likely would have been killed. He remembers them all laughing hysterically after like releasing energy.
