Amy indirectly stopped a generosity chain at Starbucks because her order was so big.
One had been going on when she got there, and when they asked the car in front of her if they’d want to pay for her order and told him the price, he chose not to. It’s because she was buying Starbucks gift cards for people who recently helped her, so her bill was over $75.
The chain had gone on for eight people when her order broke it, so Amy asked the barista if she wanted her to continue it and pay for the cars order behind her. But the barista said honestly, breaking it kind of did her a favor because they can be hard to navigate.
