Vehicle-vs-pedestrian Crash

At around 12:45 p.m. on May22nd, police were dispatched to the 4600 block of South Canyon Road for a report of a passenger vehicle that had left the roadway and struck a pedestrian. A medical unit arrived and transported the juvenile female to the hospital for the treatment of serious injuries sustained in the crash. After mapping the crash scene, it appears the Chevrolet SUV was eastbound on South Canyon Road when it left the roadway.
