Friday, November 15 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs) we will be screening our November Book to Film Movie selection “Operation Finale.” Fifteen years after the end of World War II, Israeli secret agents launched a daring top-secret raid to capture SS officer Adolf Eichmann. Eichmann, who despite being reported dead following Germany’s collapse, was living and working in a Buenos Aires, Argentina suburb with his wife and two sons. Determined to sneak Eichmann out of Argentina to stand trial in Israel, “Operation Finale” is an intense historical thriller depicting a gripping game of cat and mouse.
“Operation Finale” is rated PG-13. Popcorn and beverages will be served.
