Addiction Reframed: Angela Kennecke and Emily’s Story

Addiction Reframed is a series of presentations intended to begin a conversation on sometimes sensitive subject. In this case, opioid addiction. Angela Kennecke is a veteran broadcast journalist and award-winning investigative reporter. Over the last decade, many of her stories focused on the growing opioid crisis. That issue took on a sense of urgency when her 21-year-old daughter, Emily, died of a fentanyl overdose. Angela will share her’s, and Emily’s story in Rapid City on Monday, January 28 at the Performing Art Center. This free event is open to the public.
