With today being the one-year anniversary of the tragic events that unfolded during the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, many in the country music community stopped to share their thoughts on this emotional day.
Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Maren Morris, Jake Owen, Thomas Rhett, Zac Brown Band and more all took to social media to share what this day means to them.
Jake Owen performed at the festival just hours before tragedy hit, in his post he said, “I will never forget the evening of October 1st, 2017. A year ago today people were loving life. They were singing along. Families and friends. 58 lives were lost and thousands were injured and lives changed forever. You will always be in my heart and on my mind.”
Our thoughts and prayers are still with the families impacted by this horrific event.
