David Booker won a regional MMA match last night over Elijah Terrell but not before both men were put through an emotional roller coaster at the hands of the announcer.
This announcer seriously pulled a “double Steve Harvey” when he announced Booker as the winner of the fight only to stop halfway, say “my bad” and actually announce Elijah Terrell.
Innocent enough mistake, except he did it again! Within seconds, Terrell had come back to the referee as it turned out Booker did, in fact, win the fight!
We’re not sure what’s worse, the embarrassment this announcer must feel or how awful Terrell felt after thinking he lost, then he won, only to lose again!
Can’t win ’em all, right?
