On April 17th at around 1:40 a.m., police were dispatched to 302 E. North Street for a report of a robbery that had just occurred. Officers made contact with an employee of the business. The employee informed police they were working when two unknown individuals walked into the store. The male approached the employee and threatened to shoot them if they didn’t open the cash register. The clerk complied. Meanwhile, a female individual ran to the back of the store and placed several alcoholic beverages into a backpack. Both suspects fled the store. Witnesses described the male suspect as a slender Native American male, approximately 5’3” tall, wearing a black hat with “TC” in black stitching, a dark blue bandanna over his face, a black hoodie, black pants, and white shoes. The female is described as Native American, wearing a black hoodie with the hood cinched around her face, with white shoes and carrying a black backpack. Anyone with any information about the robbery or the identity of the suspects is encouraged to contact Det. Evan Harris at 394-4134.
