RAPID CITY'S #1 FOR NEW COUNTRY KICK 104

Dolly Parton Presents Imagination Library’s 100 Millionth Book

Dolly Parton is celebrating another huge milestone.
The country legend presented the 100 millionth book of her famed Imagination Library during an event Tuesday (Feb. 27) at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
The book that received the special honor is Dolly’s own 2016 Coat of Many Colors children’s book.
In a new partnership with the literacy program, the Library of Congress will host an Imagination Library story time on the last Friday of every month that will be webcast to libraries nationwide.
Dolly launched the new initiative with a special reading of Coat of Many Colors for children attending the event.
For more than two decades, the Imagination Library has supported millions of children worldwide by sending them a high-quality book every month through the age of five.
