She had also considered trying it on the executive who runs their cluster. At one point, she turned her phone on to record herself doing it but could not go through with it. She said she froze and could not make herself say it.
Amy explained that she originally got the idea from a TikTok video where a woman claimed calling people “big dog” helps eliminate awkwardness in business. After revisiting the creator’s page, Amy realized the woman was a comedian and that it was likely a bit. The show discussed how sometimes people say “big dog” when they do not actually know someone’s name, referencing a meme about Tiger Woods using the phrase casually.
