RAPID CITY'S #1 FOR NEW COUNTRY KICK 104

What’s the First Thing You’d Do After 16 Years Locked Up?

After spending 16 years behind bars, a New York rapper wasted no time stepping back into the world. His first stop? A New York Jets football game. Fresh out of jail, he went straight from his release to the stadium on Sunday afternoon and not just as a fan in the crowd. He had sideline passes, standing just feet away from the action.

The story sparked a Bobby Bones Show discussion: What would you do first if you got out of jail after 16 years? Amy said she would go for a hike, straight into nature. After being surrounded by concrete for so long, she said the first thing she’d want to do is see trees, feel the air, and be outside without walls closing her in. Bobby was quick to agree, saying that being outdoors after so much confinement made perfect sense. Eddie took a different approach, saying his first move would be to see his family. He laughed and admitted it might sound like the predictable answer, but that’s what he’d truly want to do, reconnect and be with the people who matter most. Bobby thought it would be cool to go to a Waffle House or somewhere to eat that you haven’t gotten to eat at in years. Lunchbox, never one to hold back, gave a much more shocking response. He said he’d go to a brothel. The show reminded him that brothels aren’t even legal in most places. He doubled down, joking that if he’d been in jail for sixteen years, that’s where he’d want to go.
