Lunchbox has been dealing with a sharp pain in his side for months now, and no one can figure out what’s wrong.
It started about four months ago, a sharp, consistent pain above his hip bone. He described the spot as about eight inches to the left of his belly button, right above the hip line. At first, he thought it might just go away on its own, but when it didn’t, he started seeing doctors to get some answers. The problem? No one seems to know what it is.
The first doctor told him it was probably just gas, but the pain stuck around. Then another doctor checked for a hernia, nothing. He was sent to another specialist, and still, no clear diagnosis. It’s gotten bad enough that Lunchbox can’t run or do any kind of physical activity. Even getting off the couch hurts. He said if he lifts his arm or moves in certain ways, the pain hits hard.
Bobby suggested it could be some kind of tendon issue or a strain, but even physical therapy didn’t help. Now, months later, Lunchbox is still searching for answers and just wants to figure out what’s going on with his side once and for all.
