A “Price Is Right” Winner Says Lunchbox Might Be Hiding Something

A caller named Summer joined The Bobby Bones Show this morning with a theory that might completely change how we see Lunchbox’s Price Is Right story.

She said she’d been listening to Lunchbox talk about his experience on the show and something about it sounded very familiar. That’s because Summer was actually on The Price Is Right years ago, and she ended up winning the whole thing. The way she described the process matched Lunchbox’s story almost exactly. Summer explained that when she auditioned, she was number 36 in line, and her conversation with the producers was super short. “They asked my name and what I did, and then moved on,” she said. “I thought I didn’t make it, and then I was the first one called up.”

That’s what got everyone thinking: maybe Lunchbox really did get called up and just can’t talk about it yet. According to Summer, contestants have to sign a bunch of paperwork after taping, promising not to say anything about the results until their episode airs. She said if the show gets bumped for something like a presidential address or breaking news and doesn’t air, contestants don’t get their prizes. So maybe, just maybe, Lunchbox is keeping quiet in case something like that happens or maybe he’s waiting to surprise everyone when the episode airs.

Of course, not everyone on the show bought into that theory. Bobby thought it was an interesting idea, but the rest of the studio wasn’t sure Lunchbox could actually pull off a secret that big. “He was doing that weird smile thing,” someone said, “but I don’t think he’s capable of hiding something that well.”

Still, it was enough to make everyone suspicious. What if he really is playing the long game here?

Summer also shared a bit about her own time on The Price Is Right, and it sounds like an unforgettable experience. She said she won “a horrible wall clock” just to get on the show, but then ended up taking home six bars of gold, a trip to Fiji, and a trip to Mexico. “They were totally legit,” she said. “They do make you cash in the gold the same day, though. It was worth about a thousand dollars a bar, but I kind of wanted to just keep one for fun.” When her episode finally aired, Summer said she watched it with her fifth-grade class, who had no idea she’d even been on the show. “It was such a fun surprise,” she said.

Now, the big question is whether Lunchbox is planning the same kind of surprise. Did he actually make it on The Price Is Right? Is he waiting until the episode airs to reveal the truth? Or did he really not get called at all? The mystery continues, but one thing’s for sure: we’ll be watching Lunchbox closely for any hints, smirks, or slip-ups that might give us the answer.
