The Time a Sneeze, a Dance, and Roller Skating All Led to Painful Injuries
Clint Black’s stage fall sparks talk of the worst injuries the Bobby Bones Show members have ever had.
Country legend Clint Black had quite the scare after falling off stage during a performance. While on The BobbyCast, he shared that one of the crew members forgot to tape off the edge of the stage, so Clint didn’t realize where it ended until it was too late. Luckily, he’s okay, but it sparked a whole conversation about the worst injuries everyone on the show has ever had.
Amy shared that her most painful injury came from something totally unexpected, a sneeze. When she was 23 or 24, she bent over to sneeze and suddenly couldn’t stand back up. Her mom had to come pick her up from work and drive her to the doctor. When they looked at her spine, it was twisted, and no one could figure out why. The only position that didn’t hurt was staying hunched over. She ended up seeing multiple doctors before recovering.
Bobby’s worst injury happened during his time on Dancing With the Stars. In the very first week of the competition, he fell and tore a ligament at the top of his shoulder. He couldn’t even lift his arm, and the pain was constant. After seeing the Tennessee Titans’ team doctor, he was told he couldn’t make the injury worse, but it was going to hurt. Determined to stay in the competition, Bobby found a private doctor who gave him weekly shots to manage the pain so he could keep performing.
Eddie had two stand-out injuries: one when he was eight years old that required stitches and tendon repair all the way down to his ACL, and another just last year when he fell while rollerskating and broke his arm. He said the broken arm hurt so bad, even worse than his childhood injury.
From sneezes to skating spills to stage falls, everyone’s got a story that proves injuries don’t always come from big, dramatic moments, sometimes, it’s the little things that hit the hardest.
