It’s been a week full of exciting updates from the show crew, and we’ve got everything from new babies to athletic wins to backyard adventures.
First up, Morgan went home over the weekend to visit her new niece! Her sister had a baby girl, her name is Collyns Layne, and what makes it extra special is that she and Morgan share the same middle name. So now Morgan is sharing her middle name with both of her nieces, and she felt honored it’s becoming a bit of a family name.
Over in Amy’s world, her son is making big strides. He’s currently ranked 12th in the state for running and has been battling it out with another top runner on his team. Amy’s son keeps placing first for his team and has been finishing as high as second overall in races. His personal record? A blazing 11 minutes, 15 seconds for 2 miles. Not bad at all for an 8th grader, and some of his times are already at the high school varsity level!
Meanwhile, Eddie has officially joined the trampoline club. Even though he was against the idea at first, mainly because his backyard isn’t very big, his wife and kids won out. Technically, his wife says the trampoline was a gift from the grandparents for their son’s birthday, but Eddie was still the one stuck assembling it. Once it was up, he spent hours bouncing with his boys, playing games like “crack the egg” and even trying out flips. The downside? After every flip, he needed a two-minute break to recover, and now he’s sore all over. Still, Eddie admits he’s come around to the trampoline life, especially since it comes with safety features and even a basketball hoop.
