Earlier this month, Abby pitched her boyfriend to help Eddie and Lunchbox with their chaotic financial planning.
Neither of them have 401Ks set up for retirement, or a saving/investing plan for that matter. Both guys are in their 40s with several kids, so many of our listeners and fellow show members have experienced genuine concern that they’re not doing any financial future planning. Abby’s boyfriend is a financial planner and he’s willing to help out both of them to get things on the track right.
At the first initial idea, both of the guys were hesitant to even consider. Today, the Bobby Bones Show followed up with them after they had some time to think on it. Eddie talked to his wife and they agreed it wasn’t a good idea because they’re worried about Abby and her boyfriend breaking up in the future. On the other hand, Lunchbox is in to have a meeting with Abby’s boyfriend. He doesn’t want to show his accounts or any of his money, but he’s open to a meeting without showing numbers to start.
