Carrie Underwood is officially in tour mode, as per a look at the country titan’s social media feeds.
On Monday (April 1), the American Idol alum shared two photos from her first day of rehearsals ahead of her “Cry Pretty Tour 360,” which is set to kick off in May 1 in Greensboro, NC. “Gang’s all here. Great first day of rehearsals! Can’t wait for the #CryPrettyTour360,” she captioned the shots of her standing in front of her crew with a microphone nearby. The new trek will kick off in May and play 55 arenas across the U.S. and Canada.
“I love performing in the round,” she said at the time of the tour announcement. “It’s so much fun for me and the band to play in every direction and creates a much more intimate and immersive experience for the audience, even in a larger arena setting. It’s been exciting to introduce audiences to Cry Pretty and I can’t wait to bring the new album to life on this tour, along with all of the songs we love to play live. I’m thrilled to be going out with an amazing line-up – Maddie & Tae and Runaway June are incredible artists that are going to bring even more electricity to our shows.”
It’s been an active week for the mother of two on social media. Over the weekend, Underwood shared a makeup-free selfie after the gym in efforts of leaving behind some of the worry that has come with “bouncing back” after giving birth to her second son, Jacob Bryan, in January. “I promise to stop analyzing every angle and every curve and every pound and every meal,” the 36-year-old admitted to fans. “I’m going to take it day by day, smile at the girl in the mirror, and work out because I love this body and all it has done and will continue to do!”
