Both Mike and his wife started doing the Heimlich (maneuver) on Madelynn and none of it seemed to work. After readjusting and patting her on her back a couple of times, Madelynn started to breathe.
On Monday, the Sheriff’s Department gave the deputy the Lifesaving Award.
