An Oregon State Police trooper rescued 10 puppies during a traffic stop that were locked in a trunk without water while on a trip from Southern California to Seattle.
Senior Trooper and K-9 handler Travis Peterson stopped a 2008 Ford Fusion after “several signs of suspicious activity.” Peterson conducted a consent search and found the puppies — a mix of Huskies and German Shepards — locked in the trunk without water or air conditioning.
