For Lauren Alaina, the 53rd ACM Awards will forever be remembered as the time she finally met Reba McEntire.The 2018 New Female Vocalist of the Year surprised the press room backstage at the Las Vegas event when she interrupted host Reba’s interviews by declaring, “Reba, can I have a picture with you?”The “Does He Love You” singer called Lauren earlier this month to reveal she had won the New Female Vocalist of the Year, but Lauren hadn’t ever met Reba in person.Until now.”Your call made my whole life,” Lauren told Reba after they snapped a photo together.Reba also called ACM New Male Vocalist and ACM New Duo/Group winners Brett Young and Midland, respectively, to notify them of their wins.
