Structure Fire

Piedmont Fire and Ambulance Service, and the Meade County Sherriff’s office, responded to a reported smoke in the attic of a structure, on Piedmont Meadows Rd.
First arriving Firefighters found a fire burning in the attic.
Piedmont Fire and Ambulance Service, requested and received assistance from the Black Hawk Volunteer Fire Department, North Haines Volunteer Fire Department and the Pennington County Fire Service.
Firefighters stopped the spread of the flames, confining it to the attic and a section of the roof assembly.
The occupied residential structure received minimal damage, fog and winter time road conditions did hamper response efforts.
No injuries to civilians were reported, or Firefighters were reported.
