“The Biggest Little Farm” Documentary Showing at the Library

August 25, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Join us Sunday, August 25 from 1 – 2:30 p.m. at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs) and witness the decade-long story of John and Molly Chester as they trade city life for transforming 200 acres of barren land into a biodynamic farm that works in harmony with nature.

In 2011, the husband and wife team left their jobs in Los Angeles to become farmers and pursue their dream vision of starting Apricot Lane Farms. Located 40 miles north of Los Angeles, the farm is dedicated to the mission of creating a well-balanced eco-system and rich soils that produce nutrient-dense foods while treating the environment and the animals with respect. “The Biggest Little Farm” provides us all a vital blueprint for better living and a healthier planet.
