Experience traditional Lakota/Dakota culture through joyous music and dance at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, downstairs). Thursday, October 18 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Whitney Rencountre, along with the Lakota drum and dance group, will share their culture with the goal of creating understanding and fostering positive change in our schools and communities.

Rencountre is on the Executive Committee for the South Dakota Humanities Council, is the Vice President of Visit Rapid City and on the Board of Directors for the Club for Boys in Rapid City.
