Rapid City Public Library is pleased to host a community gathering to view the eclipse on Monday, August 21 starting at 10:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. outside the downtown library (610 Quincy Street). The library will distribute free eclipse glasses for viewing on the day of the event, while supplies last. Bring seating if desired.

The library will also start distributing a limited quantity of free eclipse glasses on Monday, August 14 during the downtown library’s regular operating hours. One per person present please.
