BBSRadiothon: Maren Morris Performs “Good Friends”

The Bobby Bones Show’s 2022 St. Jude Radiothon kicked off today (December 8) with several performances. Along with the incredible performances, we heard several St. Jude patient and family stories about the wonderful things St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital does for

Lunchbox thinks he has something in common with Steve Jobs because they’ve both sold a pair of their old shoes on eBay. Steve Jobs’ pair sold for $218,000 dollars, so Lunchbox decided to sell his old slippers on eBay. He listed them as “One of a kind. Lunchbox’s old slippers,” and they sold! He said these slippers are so worn out with holes in them that they are unwearable. Someone paid 99 cents for them and paid for the shipping too! He couldn’t believe it because he didn’t promote the slippers, someone just randomly found them on eBay and decided to buy them.

The Bobby Bones Show received a voicemail from a listener named Janice saying someone by the name of Teresa Decker had messaged her on Instagram saying she was Bobby Bones Communications Director and wanted to know if it was true or not. Her name on Instagram is ‘Teresa.Decker91’ and in her bio she claims to be the Communications Director for Bones and to ignore anyone who may reach out about him except her. Bones has no idea who this is, he doesn’t even have a Communications Director and announced that it is a scam alert. The only people who will reach out to others for Bones are either himself, someone with a blue checkmark by their name, or someone he follows. If you ever receive a message and are questioning if it’s real, check to see if Bones follows them. If he doesn’t, there is a good chance it’s fake.

Recently we talked about a woman who had taken her dog that died and made it into a dog-skin hide rug. The head, paws and tail are all still on it. Lunchbox wanted to see if this could actually be done so he called a Taxidermist to find out and hear how they would react. He called a Taxidermist he said was located somewhere in the South. He started the call by asking if they made rugs out of animal skin. They said they do but it depends on the animal and the size. Lunchbox started to describe the animal as 75 pounds, a really good boy, and friendly. When the Taxidermist asked if he was talking about a dog, Lunchbox said yes. His dog “Fluffy” died last name from kennel cough and that he loved the dog so much he wants to still be able to have her as a rug. The Taxidermist said it was a bit out of the norm and if he’d be mentally prepared to see basically a family member deflated and dead lying on the floor. The Taxidermist said if it’s really what he wants to do then they’ll do it. The show agreed it’s so crazy and weird that Taxidermist will actually do this to a dog, and it’s not something they’d ever actually want to get done.
