Timothy White/E(LONDON) — Although she’s only 17, Kylie Jenner recently revealed she gets no financial help from her mom, Kris Jenner.
“My mom cut me off financially three years ago,” she told InStyle UK. “I pay for everything — my car, my gas, and food, as well as my clothes.”
Kylie is the youngest daughter of Kris and Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce.
Kylie isn’t hurting for cash though. She recently purchased a $2.7 million home thanks to funds from her hit reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Also, she rakes in money thanks to clothing collections with her older sister, Kendall, at PacSun and Top Shop. The two are also authors of a book, Rebels: City of Indra. Not to mention, Kylie serves as a brand ambassador for several beauty and lifestyle brands.
In the magazine, Kylie also discussed her evolving style and how her family members influence her looks.
“I think my style is a little bit darker thanks to my mom,” she said. “There are a lot of skulls around her house and the furniture is mostly black and white. She wears a lot of black too, and I think that’s definitely rubbed off on me…[I] feel like I dress like Khloe on my down days and Kim when I’m going out.”
Kylie added, “Sometimes I look back at myself on previous seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and think, ‘Why didn’t you let your hair down then, or put on something nicer?’ I think now I’m much more aware when the cameras are around and I do doll up a lot more.”
Kylie also dished on her diet and the fact that she’s relying on her metabolism to maintain her trim figure. “I haven’t worked out in two and a half years,” she told InStyle. “I’m living out my youth not doing any exercise and eating what I want, which is pretty bad.”
