Lunchbox has a history of wanting to write everything off as a work tax expense.
His idea is if he talks about it on The Bobby Bones Show, it should be considered a work expense and he can write it off. Over the years he’s talked about how much he’s gotten back from the government. Like in 2013 he got back $11,000, and another year he got back $9,000. But the day has finally come, the IRS has reached out to him wanting to question him. He hasn’t called them back yet. After listening to the voicemail, the show determined that the message was a scam, and he should ignore it.
Lunchbox says he still hasn’t done his taxes, but he plans to do them himself and likes to wait until the last minute.
