A new study explored horror movies and how they can actually cause pleasure for humans. Researchers from Aarhus University shared that it’s been suspected for years that physiological arousal plays a role in why people find horror movies and haunted houses so exciting. A recent poll also found that 63 percent of Americans believe in the paranormal in some form.
